Our Philosophy

Our Program emphasizes the social, cognitive, emotional, physical, and ethical development of children using the emergent curriculum, which is teacher facilitated and child initiated. The developmentally appropriate and anti-bias curriculum is used to promote self-esteem, independence, and learning which includes a balance of active and quiet, indoor and outdoor play, structured and non-structured activities. All activities will revolve around a certain theme which will be done on a weekly basis.

Kidzland Promises

As the provider, I will:

Greet each child with a smile
Hug each child at least once a day
Listen to and respect each child
Sincerely give each child praise
Discipline calmly and firmly
Plan at least one special activity each day
Have age appropriate toys for all children
Read aloud to the children
Start each day with the toys picked up
Start each day with a clean bathroom
Server nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks
End the day by telling the parent one positive thing that happened to their child that day

As the Parent, I will:

Tell my provider that he/she is doing a good job
Talk to my provider about my concerns for my child
Support and follow through on discipline we agree upon
Bring my child appropriately dressed for the weather and daily activities
Pick my child up on time
Call my provider immediately if he/she is sick
Call my provider immediately if he/she will not be attending
Inform my provider of any changes in address or telephone numbers, at home or work or changes in doctor or medical insurance
Pay my provider on time
Abide by my provider's contract/agreement
